World Photography Day: Sangam Exhibition At Leica Store New Delhi!

Sangam Exhibition: Celebrate World Photography Day at Leica Delhi

Kriti Sawhney

In celebration of World Photography Day, the prestigious Leica Store New Delhi unveiled a special exhibition titled Sangam — Confluence of Three. The showcase is particularly momentous as it marks the public debut of photographer Chitra Raghavan, whose work promises to bring a fresh and thoughtful perspective to the Indian photographic landscape.

Though the exhibition title hints at a triadic narrative, the true essence of Sangam lies in its fusion of technique, theme, and personal vision. Chitra Raghavan, alongside two other exhibiting artists, weaves together diverse interpretations of contemporary photography—ranging from documentary storytelling to abstract explorations of light, shadow, and form.

For Chitra Raghavan, Sangam represents a milestone moment. This exhibition is her first public showing, introducing audiences to her personal style and creative lens. Known among peers for her sensitive eye and nuanced compositions, Raghavan’s work reflects a balance of emotional depth and technical precision.

The Leica Store New Delhi has steadily become a hub for India’s photographic community, curating exhibitions, workshops, and dialogues that bring together professionals, enthusiasts, and newcomers alike. By presenting Sangam on World Photography Day, Leica highlights its commitment to celebrating photography as both an art form and a cultural bridge.

The exhibition not only amplifies the works on display but also reinforces Leica’s role in shaping conversations around modern photography in India.

Visitors are encouraged to step into a space where multiple artistic voices merge, challenging them to interpret, connect, and immerse themselves in the visual stories presented.
