Ask people their comfort food and majority would say that it is a cheesy slice of pizza. A good pizza is all about the perfect crush, some tangy sauce and gigantic cheese pull. Indians have had an affair with pizza since the longest time and now, two Indian pizzerias have made it to the World’s 100 Best Pizzerias for 2025.
A US based organisation recently compiled and released the list of 100 best pizzerias and the event took place in Milan on June 25, 2025. The global voting panel consisted of over 500 experts from 60 countries. As per rankings, Da Susy of Gurugram and Leo’s of Delhi have been named among the top 100 for this year.
Da Susy in Gurugram is helmed by Sussana Di Cosimo and has stood at the 71st position on the list this year. The pizzeria was established in 2021 and currently has two branches in Gurugram.
Leo’s Pizzeria on the other hand is headed by Chef Anmol Kumar and has been ranked at the 99th position by the Best Pizza Awards. The restaurant was established in 2016 and has multiple branches in Delhi-NCR.
The list has been topped by Masanielli Di Francesco Martucci located in Caserta, Italy.
