Barely weeks after opening its first Indian Experience Centre in Mumbai’s upscale Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), Tesla is accelerating its entry into the Indian market with the announcement of a second showroom in Delhi’s prestigious Aerocity. This expansion marks a pivotal moment in Tesla’s strategy to test the waters in India’s premium electric vehicle segment while gradually building its brand presence.
The upcoming showroom will be located in the Worldmark complex in Aerocity, one of Delhi’s most premium commercial and lifestyle hubs, strategically placed near the Indira Gandhi International Airport.
Alongside the showroom, Tesla is also rolling out charging stations across Delhi-NCR to ensure potential customers feel confident about EV adoption. The Delhi Aerocity location, like the Mumbai BKC outlet, is an Experience Centre — not a service center. Here, customers can view vehicles, experience Tesla’s tech, and learn about EV ownership, but actual servicing will be handled separately.
By starting with premium showrooms in luxury commercial districts, Tesla is assessing how much demand exists in India’s high-end EV segment before committing to larger investments like manufacturing or widespread dealership networks.
Tesla’s Aerocity showroom will likely become a landmark destination for EV enthusiasts and a symbol of how luxury automotive brands are reshaping India’s urban mobility landscape.
