Shopping in Delhi’s busiest markets is an experience people love, but carrying heavy bags through crowded lanes and standing in long queues can quickly become exhausting. A new Delhi-based startup is now trying to solve that problem with a unique convenience service designed especially for shoppers navigating packed local markets.
CarryMen Brings Personal Shopping Assistants to Delhi Markets:
The startup, called CarryMen, has officially launched its services in Lajpat Nagar, offering trained shopping assistants for just ₹149 per hour. These assistants help customers carry shopping bags, stand in queues, guide them through crowded market lanes and even escort them to metro stations or parking areas after shopping.
The concept is simple but highly relatable for Delhi shoppers. Markets like Lajpat Nagar are famous for fashion finds, street shopping and festive collections, but navigating the crowd with multiple shopping bags can often become tiring, especially during weekends and festive rushes.
The idea behind CarryMen reportedly came from observing the everyday struggles people face while shopping in Delhi’s iconic street markets. From endless walking to crowded lanes and limited parking, the shopping experience can become physically draining. The assistants are trained to help customers throughout their market visit, making shopping more convenient and stress-free.
After launching in Lajpat Nagar, CarryMen now plans to expand its services to some of Delhi’s busiest shopping hubs, including Sarojini Nagar and Chandni Chowk.
Both markets attract massive daily footfall and are known for crowded lanes, bargain shopping and festive rushes, making them ideal locations for such a service.
With affordable hourly pricing and expansion plans already in motion, CarryMen may soon become a common sight across Delhi’s busiest markets.
