Delhi’s much-loved Amrit Udyan at Rashtrapati Bhavan is set to welcome visitors once again, opening for public viewing from February 3 to March 31. Formerly known as the Mughal Gardens, Amrit Udyan offers a rare opportunity to experience the lush, meticulously designed gardens located within the President’s Estate, making it one of the most iconic seasonal attractions in the capital.
Spread across expansive grounds, the garden showcases a stunning blend of Mughal, British, and Indian landscaping styles, featuring vibrant flower beds, manicured lawns, water channels, and a wide variety of seasonal blooms. From colourful tulips and roses to exotic plants and herbal sections, Amrit Udyan is a visual treat for nature lovers, photographers, and families alike.
Timings & Entry Details:
The garden will be open six days a week, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with the last entry permitted at 5:15 PM. It will remain closed on Mondays for maintenance and will also be closed on March 4 due to Holi.
Entry to Amrit Udyan is free, though visitors are required to follow the prescribed entry guidelines and security protocols at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
