The Delhi Tourism Department is hosting a Heritage Walk Festival, which will include 100 Heritage Walks per day until December 31. Their aim is to promote the city’s tourism, culture, and rich heritage. A tourism official stated that the agency has invited many notable historians and storytellers to lead these walks, and that each event will have 25 seats.

The department plans to host 23 heritage walks in October, 40 in November, and 37 in December. Along with the heritage and ghost walks, the department will offer over 100 new walks this year, including visits to old police stations, cinema theatres, Old Delhi, pottery colonies in Kumhar, parks, and food spots.

Most of these hikes will take place on weekends. Each walk can be completed by a group of 25 persons for a fee. The cost will be identical to earlier walks: Rs 1,000 per person, which includes a walk conductor/guide and a kit. The kit will include a torch, stick, jute bag, cap, badge, band, water bottle, juice, seasonal fruits, and a muffin.

The heritage walks will be themed, such as "Dekho Apna CP", "Jahanara ki Dehli", and "Queer History of Mediaeval Period".
