It's unlikely that the trend of cricket players opening restaurants will stop anytime soon. Following the success of cricket legends Virat Kohli, Shikhar Dhawan, and Suresh Raina's culinary endeavours, cricket icon Yuvraj Singh is all set to open his first restaurant, KOCA, in Gurugram.

Despite its Punjabi flavour, KOCA is a code name for Kitchen of Celebratory Arts. Delicious food was a top priority for Yuvraj, a partner in this initiative under Glamosphere Hospitality. Due to his special dietary requirements and vegetarianism, Yuvraj finds it challenging to find many options on restaurant menus; KOCA helped to bridge this gap.

The 14,000-square-foot restaurant, which is split across two levels and is situated in Golf Avenue 42, a new high-street complex on Golf Course Road, aims to draw customers who are either seeking a quality dining experience or a lively setting (or both).

Yuvraj's international cricket career and his travels served as inspiration for the KOCA's Pan-Asian and cosmopolitan cuisine. The kitchen is currently run by chefs Prateek Jha and Adiba Jha from Izumi Dubai, while the original food curators were Chef Megha Kohli and Noah Louis Barnes.

KOCA officially opens its doors on April 12, 2025.
