Delhi’s much-loved India Gate has always been the city’s favourite spot for family outings, evening strolls, and late-night hangouts. Now, it has a delicious new addition that’s set to make your visits even more exciting – the first-ever dedicated food court right at India Gate, bringing together the culinary essence of more than 10 Indian states under one roof.

To get to the recently opened, spacious and hygienic food court, simply take the underpass. Both the North and the South areas provide reasonably priced, well-known Indian delicacies from different states. One of the biggest highlights of the food court is its celebration of India’s rich culinary diversity. Each stall represents a different Indian state, offering authentic dishes prepared by chefs and local experts from that region.

Telangana Tourism's Hyderabadi food stall, the Keralan government's Cafe Kudumbashree, Roots from the Arunachal Pradesh hills, Assam Food Counter, Rajasthani Food Counter, Sikkim Food Court, Aaharika's Bihari food, Meghalaya Collectives Cafe, Tamil Nadu Food Court and MTDC Maharashtra Food Stall are a few of these establishments.

With the government focusing on maintaining cleanliness and preserving heritage spaces, this initiative is a perfect balance between public convenience and heritage conservation.

For locals, it’s an exciting new hangout spot and for tourists, it’s a quick crash course in India’s culinary diversity.
