In May 2025, the first Lego-certified store in India is scheduled to open in Ambience Mall in Gurugram. According to an official release, the store will be run in collaboration with the Ample Group and provide Lego fans with an engaging shopping experience.
The Gurugram location will be the biggest Lego-certified store in South Asia, occupying more than 4,500 square feet. A combination of digital and real-world activities will be offered, such as interactive play areas, Lego mosaics modelled after nearby sites, and 3D models.
Additionally, the Gurugram LEGO Certified Store will showcase unique LEGO models and mosaics that draw inspiration from regional landmarks and icons. Expect LEGO Store mainstays like Pick a Brick and Build-a-Minifigure, among others. You can also design your own LEGO figurine at Minifigure Factory and Engage in play areas for both adults and children.
With interactive building stations and creative areas intended to encourage hands-on participation, the store will act as a gathering place for LEGO fans of all ages. This strengthens the brand's dedication to motivating young minds and represents a major development for the company in India.
For LEGO enthusiasts in India, this will be especially welcome because it would eliminate the need for them to acquire highly sought-after kits from the US, UK, and the Middle East. In the past, toy stores such as Hamleys have sold LEGO in limited quantities.
