Lego fans in India, it is a good news for you! The famous Danish toymaker company Lego has made its debut in India with a swanky 4,500 square feet store in Gurugram. This is the largest store of the brand in South Asia which features over 800 products including 250 sets that are only available at offline Lego stores.
With the opening of its own store, Lego is making a shift from selling products online or via other retailers like First Cry and Hamleys. The global toy company has entered the offline Indian market in collaboration with Ample Group.
Not just this, the store promises a one of its kind experience as it is a blend of physical and digital products that bring spirit to life. While the first store has opened in Gurugram, talks are underway to increase presence in more cities like Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Ahmedabad and Lucknow.
On the inauguration of the store, Rajesh Narang, Founder and CEO at Ample Group said, “At Ample, we have always believed in creating meaningful experiences for our customers by bringing some of the world’s most iconic brands closer to Indian customers, be it Apple, Bose, Under Armour, ASICS, and now LEGO Group. With the launch of South Asia’s Largest LEGO store, we are not just introducing a brand but offering families a space to imagine, play and create memories together.”
The products start at a price range of INR 499 and go as high as INR 80,000 for advanced sets for collectors.
