Every year, Delhi comes alive with the magic of Ramlila, but few productions match the grandeur of the Luv Kush Ramlila at the Red Fort. This annual spectacle, blending devotion, theatre, and cutting-edge technology, is one of India’s most iconic cultural events. The 2025 edition, running till October 3, promises to mesmerize audiences with its combination of tradition, celebrity presence, and innovative stagecraft.
The constructed stage is 60 feet broad and 160 feet long. This is based on the well-known Somnath Temple in Gujarat and has 1,25,000 LED lights. It took about a month to produce and involved over 500 artists. In addition, you should see well-known performers in important roles in this Ramlila. Ramlila committees in Delhi-NCR are working to promote culture while utilising modern technology, from praising the Indian Armed Forces for the accomplishment of Operation Sindoor to honouring Indian cultural heritage.
The magic of the Luv Kush Ramlila goes far beyond Delhi. It is Telecasted live on national channels, reaching over 25 crore viewers across India. Streamed on 150+ YouTube channels, connecting devotees worldwide with the traditions of the Ramayana.
The Luv Kush Ramlila isn’t just theatre—it’s a living tradition that combines spirituality, cultural pride, and entertainment. Families, students, and tourists gather each year to witness the timeless story of Lord Rama, enriched with modern presentation.
In 2025, the event yet again proves why it remains Delhi’s most iconic Ramlila—a grand fusion of devotion, technology, and Bollywood glamour that keeps the epic Ramayana alive in the hearts of millions.
