A group of youngsters led by Founder President Anuradha Aggarwal Modi started Friendicoes SECA (Society for the Eradication of Cruelty to Animals) in 1975 as a Kindness Club. She later departed to form other organisations, such as Kare and Holy Cow Foundation. Its goal was to raise awareness of stray animals in need and homeless pets. Friendicoes was established on April 23, 1979, as a non-profit charity.
Through hospitals, clinics, animal shelters, and mobile clinics, Friendicoes offers services to the Delhi NCR region as well as four surrounding states. All animals in need, no matter how big or tiny, receive specialised veterinary care and rehabilitation from Friendicoes.
Serving all abused, ill, and injured animals who are left to fend for themselves on the streets has been their purpose for the past 44 years. Over 40,000 animals visit the hospital each year; the majority are strays, neighbourhood pets, or abandoned animals. To get the animal to our clinics more quickly, we ask reporters and rescuers to use private ambulances or their own vehicles.
Their vision is a world free from cruelty, suffering, and mental or physical deprivation, where humans and animals live in harmony. No animal experiences agony or silent suffering that is valiantly endured, and all animals have access to food and high-quality medical care.
They’re always looking for volunteers and donations! Help your paw friends and make a beautiful environment for them too.
