New Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI) is the first and only airport in India with connections to 150 airports, 80 of which are domestic and 70 of which are international. This accomplishment demonstrates Delhi Airport's unwavering commitment to growing its network of destinations, improving operational effectiveness, facilitating smooth passenger connectivity, and offering a variety of aircraft options to connect both domestic and international locations.

The latest addition to IGI airport's long list of connections is the launch of a Thai AirAsia X direct route from Delhi to Don Mueang (DMK) airport in Bangkok, Thailand. Delhi's airport has been a vital air hub for India, linking the nation with international locations. Connecting 88% of India's long-haul destinations, it has long played a significant role in the country's aviation industry. More than 56% of the nation's weekly long-haul flights originate from this location. The fact that 42% of all long-haul Indian visitors leave from Delhi reflects this dominance in foreign travel.

Delhi International Airport Limited's (DIAL) CEO, Videh Kumar Jaipuriar, expressed delight in the airport's accomplishment, saying that connecting 150 locations demonstrates their dedication to improving global connectivity. He underlined that Delhi Airport wants to continue to be the go-to destination for tourists from all around the world.

Whether you're going to Bangkok or Zurich, Delhi is setting the standard for smooth travel experiences due to its vast network of airports that now serve destinations in Asia, Europe, North America, and beyond.
