After years of anticipation, Noida is finally set to witness a major upgrade in urban mobility. The long-awaited pedestrian skywalk connecting the Aqua Line of the Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) at Sector 51 with the Blue Line of the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) at Sector 52 is scheduled to open on February 1, 2026.
This much-needed infrastructure project is expected to bring huge relief to thousands of daily commuters, making metro interchanges safer, faster, and far more convenient.
Seamless Metro Interchange for Noida Commuters:
Until now, passengers travelling between the Aqua Line and Blue Line had to navigate busy roads, traffic signals, and long walking distances to change lines. The new Sector 51–52 pedestrian skywalk eliminates these hassles by offering a direct, secure, and weather-protected connection between the two metro stations.
This improved connectivity will significantly reduce travel time for office-goers, students, and residents commuting between Noida, Greater Noida, and Delhi.
The skywalk is designed to handle heavy footfall, keeping in mind Noida’s growing population and increasing metro ridership.
