Get ready, Delhi! One of America’s most beloved ice cream brands, Carvel, is all set to make its grand entry into India this August 2025, with the launch of its first-ever outlet in the heart of the capital city. Founded in 1934 by Tom Carvel in New York, Carvel is credited with inventing the first soft-serve ice cream.

Carvel is entering India through a partnership with Unify Foodworks, the master franchisee for the country. Their first store will open in New Delhi this August, and this is only the beginning. The brand has ambitious plans to open up to 100 outlets across India over the next few years, starting with metros like Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad.

Products from Carvel's current US portfolio, such as Flying Saucers and soft serve flavours like coffee, chocolate, pistachio, hazelnut, and vanilla, will be offered on the India menu. The brand wants to establish itself in the market for often requested and reasonably priced dessert options.

As Delhi gears up for Carvel’s arrival, it’s not just about ice cream—it’s about celebrating moments of joy. Whether it’s a scoop on a sunny day, a cake for your little one’s birthday, or a nostalgic bite of creamy soft-serve, Carvel brings a piece of American happiness to India’s capital.
