Residents and tourists will soon be able to experience Noida's first deer park and mini-zoo, which is presently being built at the Biodiversity Park in Sector 91. This new attraction, which was created with a strong emphasis on sustainability and wildlife conservation, is poised to revolutionise urban green areas. A sunset safari, expert-led design, and an emphasis on wildlife conservation will also be included.
5 Facts About The Upcoming Deer Park In Noida:
1. The outstanding park will serve as a fresh attraction for tourists visiting Noida. There will be 132 deer in the park, representing ten different species. Three African deer species will reside alongside zoo animals coming from Kanpur and Lucknow, and Hyderabad facilities.
2. A former District Forest Officer (DFO) is in charge of the park's design, making sure that the layout promotes both the experience of visitors and the welfare of the animals. For evening visits, extra care is being taken to create natural settings with gentle, environmentally friendly lighting that won't wake the animals.
3. The deer park is being created on 30 acres with a ₹40 crore budget. It will house both domestic and exotic deer and act as a rehabilitation facility for animals that have been rescued, including those taken from airports. The project also includes the establishment of a new rescue facility close to Dhanauri Wetland.
4. The park's sunset safari will be one of its most notable features. Special lighting that replicates a natural evening setting will allow visitors to explore the grounds until 10 PM. The trip offers a rare opportunity to see wildlife after dark, which is not often possible in India's cities.
5. With environmental conditions designed to support both indigenous and African deer species, this will be the only deer park in the area. In order to transform the park into an educational environment that raises awareness of conservation, experts are striving to ensure that the exotic animals acclimatise smoothly.
