Founded in 2017 by professional footballer Tanvie Hans and Nike‑certified fitness coach Swetha Subbiah, Sisters In Sweat began as a fun weekend football session in Bengaluru — just 17 women showed up, and the rest is history. The vision? A safe, empowering and inclusive space where women, regardless of age or athletic background, can come together, sweat it out, and build lifelong bonds.
From day one, Sisters In Sweat pledged to be “for women, by women, stitched together by sport and wellness”
Sessions aren’t confined to football — Delhi’s roster now includes:
- Football, basketball, touch rugby
- Badminton, pickleball, tennis
- Yoga, pilates, dance, swim and multi-sport events.
Each session is music-infused, beginner-friendly, and run by trained coaches. Whether it's Galentine’s Day football, Yoga Day celebrations or Women's Day matches, every event feels like a mini celebration of sisterhood.
Sisters In Sweat is far more than just a fitness group — it’s a movement. By combining sports, empowerment, friendship and inclusivity, the community is rewriting the script on women in sport in India. Whether you’re a seasoned athlete or looking to rediscover your active side, this could be your squad. So lace up, show up, and join the sisterhood.
